Before there was Venice, there was Horse and Chaise

In 1925, the name of Venice was originally adopted for our town. Up until that time, we were known as Horse and Chaise, going back to the 1870s.

In 1995, Horse and Chaise Rentals first opened its doors for business, and the rental and leasing company has been steadily growing ever since.

Horse and Chaise is a member of Venice Main Street, the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce (and we were nominated for their Small Business of the Year Award in 1997), and the Florida Association of Residential Property Managers.

Licensed Brokers Helene MacDonald and Sue Horner have over 35 years of combined experience in the real estate and property rental fields. Additional staff includes Stephanie Skulitz agent, Bart MacDonald Broker/Agent, and Jane Murrell Bookkeeper.
